Insulin Resistance Expert and Registered Dietitian
I started my RD practice as many do – helping my clients track their macronutrients. But being all about the numbers didn’t feel right to me, and I noticed there were several clients still struggling to lose weight despite their macros being on target for their goals.
One of my clients – no matter what she tried or how hard she worked – just couldn’t seem to lose the weight. (Can you relate???) It wasn’t until we realized she was Insulin Resistant that things turned around. I adjusted her nutrition plan to reverse insulin resistance (which included carbs that were right for her body) and she went on to lose 90 pounds!
Since then, I’ve focused on helping more women reverse their Insulin Resistance and establish a healthier relationship with carbohydrates.
